Aborro Systems started in 2019 with four second-hand servers in a rented cage at a Brisbane data centre and one customer (a friend's accounting firm that needed somewhere to run its practice software off-site). The cage is now two rows of racks, the friend is still a customer, and we've been in our own Virginia facility since 2023.
We're deliberately small. Twelve racks, two uplink providers, one NOC. That scale is the point: every customer's gear is something we've physically installed, and when we say we'll reboot your server we mean one of us will walk twenty metres and do it.

Founded the company after a decade running infrastructure for a Brisbane MSP. Handles sales, capacity planning, and the occasional late-night cable run.
Runs the NOC and the routing stack. If you've ever called at 3am and someone competent answered, it was probably Michelle.
Billing, contracts, access requests for the facility, and the reason our invoices arrive on time.
